Sunny Day

Before going to Six Flags, I decided to wear my black converse with a pair of Dr. Scholl's (for Her) to set out for the day. I thought it was going to be comfortable but I was wrong when I started walking in them. My shoes felt a little bit tight around each side. I was trying to figure out what type of shoes to wear for walking  but I didn't have any shoes that would be suitable except for my converse. I ended up wearing my converse because those shoes went with my outfit. Later, I needed to pick up 3 people to take to Six Flags; my boyfriend, and 2 of his friends. I also took my little brother and his friends as well. When we head out to the freeway I was the designated driver. My boyfriend was in the passenger seat giving me directions to get there. When we were on the freeway my boyfriend wanted to drive because he thought that by going on the car pool lane would help us get to Six Flags faster. I thought it would be better to just stay on the regular lane  and go through traffic. He ask if he could take over so I exit a random street and pulled to a side walk so we could change seats. Along the way we both had arguments about where to go. It seems to me that it would have been better if I drove and he gives me directions because I know that I could follow them. While we were on the freeway, it seemed that our A/C didn't feel cold anymore. My boyfriend said that the engine was going to overheat due to the weather near Palmdale. We turned off the A/C and lower down our windows. The air from outside felt better than the A/C. When we almost arrive to the theme park, we stop by Subway to get something to eat because we knew that the food in Six Flags were going to be expensive. I bought an avocado turkey sandwich with the OMEGA bread, which were delicious and my boyfriend bought a black forest ham sandwich. After we went next door to check out the cupcake store to see what they had there. The cupcakes that were on displays looked very appetizing. I decided to buy one and try it. I chose the red velvet cupcake because I was more familiar with that flavor. It tasted pretty good. The cupcake was very soft from the center and the frosting taste like cheesecake. Once I was done eating it we head to the theme park. First we try to go on all the water rides because the weather was very hot! After we went on a few roller coasters we got hungry and started to walk to the picnic area. They served hot dogs, chicken with bbq sauce, potatoes salad and chips. For dessert they gave us unlimited Popsicle. Of course there were drinks available in those machines. We had good laughs and conversations and when we finish eating we went on more rides. When it was getting dark we saw hardly any people in the Tidal ride; so our instinct was to go on. I didn't realize that we were gonna get wet all over and I was envying the people who didn't get wet. My sweater got soaked as well and it took like the whole night or so to dry off! I regret going on that ride in the night time. The last roller coaster that we went on was Viper. My head was banging from side to side because there were so many loops! After that we called it a night and went home. My boyfriend was the designed driver on the way back. I notice he was getting sleepy almost towards the end so I took over and drove everyone back home. My feet were killing me and I still felt wet from the water ride. I just wanted to go home and take a shower. Next time when I go to a theme park again; Buy comfortable shoes and bring extra clothes.
